Having reviewed both, I will definitely admit that I am quite impressed with the duo and excited to share what is lined up with V20. The handset came up with the enhancement of 5G capabilities and a dual selfie shooter.

Design and Build Quality

Vivo V20 Pro Review with design and sample

The Vivo V20 Pro is identical to the Vanilla V20. It has an identical set of cameras, comfortable design, striking, sleek, and identical set of cameras. If you compare the models Vivo V20 and V20 Pro, they both look exactly the same.

The Vivo V20 Pro brags with the 5G connectivity by having it stamped next to the logo at the backside of it. V20 Pro instead of the latter entitles you with the dual selfie camera. The wider notch on the top of its almost bezel-less 6.44-inch AMOLED screen.

What did I notice? The Vivo V20 Pro lacks a headphone jack. The expensive phones lack a 3.5mm port instead of cheaper models. The sleek designs look quite attractive.

Display and Audio

The Vivo V20 Pro has a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution and 408ppi. Being an AMOLED panel, it offers you vibrant colors, deep contrast, and enables its always-on display feature along with UD fingerprint scanner.

The max screen brightness is sufficient for outdoor visibility. The FHD+ resolution makes everything detailed and sharp. Vivo V20 Pro lacks a headphone jack. There’s 3.5mm to USB Type-C with adapter in the box, with the pair of earphones. There is a high-resolution certification for the better output as audio.

Hardware and Performance

Powering with the Vivo V20 Pro review. It has a 2.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 Octa-core processor. The 5G connectivity is a bit powerful with midrange processors. The Vivo V20 Pro has the right balance between speed and quality. The gameplay has smooth frame rates, but definitely not the smoothest. On the upside, the visuals do look stunning.

Camera Quality

The Vivo V20 Pro features a secondary 8-megapixels ultra-wide camera. This means we’re getting the same 64-megapixel f/1.9 main camera with 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens that can be used for portrait shots. The 2-megapixels monochrome lens is what I loved. The device is quite impressive and user-friendly.

The overall camera quality is great outdoor but talking about low-light scenarios seems quite disappointing there. It is recommended to use the night mode for a brighter and long-exposure shot. What did I love about the camera? The selfie snapper boasts a couple of software tricks for improving the shooting experience.

“VIVO V2 Pro is equipped with the flexible hardware and software that helps you in taking impressive pictures. However, the optical image stabilization that has now been omitted.”

Connectivity

The main highlight of the Vivo V20 Pro is its 5G connectivity that makes the device futuristic proof. Besides this, the snapdragon 765 Chipset came up with dual-band Wi-Fi. The quite liked feature by me is USB Type-C connectivity that makes it more compatible with the latest or futuristic accessories.

Battery

The Vivo V20 Pro has a 4000mAh battery. We can get about 17 hours of screen-on time with a day of light to moderate use. Hence, the longevity will be lesser when you’re in with 5G connectivity constantly. Just one hour charge with its 33W fast charger makes it more reliable.

Pros:

  • Attractive and Sleek Design
  • Reliable Performance
  • 5G connectivity
  • Futuristic Friendly
  • Camera is great
  • Vibrant Screen

Cons:

  • No Headphone Jack
  • No microSD card
  • Competition offers better processors, high refresh rate screen

My Verdict

The Vivo V20 Pro is a great device by itself, it has reliable features, fast processors, cleaner interface, flexible camera, vibrant screen, and how can you forget about the 5G connectivity. If you’re the person who loves speed more, do try out the better options.

There are competing devices that offer a high refresh rate screen and even a similar flagship processor. This Vivo V20 Pro review will definitely help you in buying this fantastic device!
