Use the “Find My” app to find the AirPods

This method only works when either one or both AirPods are in your charging case, charged, and you lose them.

1. Go to “Settings” on your iPhone and click on “Available Devices,” and search for the “Airpods” option under it.
2. Next, a drop-down menu will appear, and from there, select the “Find My” option.
3. Next, enter your Apple ID and password here to link your phone to your AirPods.
4. Next, enable both “Find My AirPods” and “offline finding” here and click on the “Show the last location of my AirPods” option.

Use iCloud to find the Airpods through a PC or laptop

If you do not have your iPhone near you, you can still locate your AirPods from your PC using the iCloud facility. Follow the steps below to do so.

1. Go to your iCloud and sign in using your Apple ID and password.
2. Select the “Find iPhone” option.

Just remember, Lost Mode only works for AirPods, not the charging case.

If you are using iPhone, follow the steps below:

1. Go to “Settings” on your iPhone and click “Available Devices.”
2. Now search for the “Airpods” option under it and click it.
3. Next, a drop-down menu will appear, and from there, select the “Find My” option.
4. Here click on “All Devices” and select “Airpods.”
5. Then click on Devices > “your AirPods”> Play Sound.

Or, if you are using the iCloud facility, follow the steps below:

1. Go to your iCloud and sign in by putting in your Apple ID and password.
2. Select the “Find iPhone” option there.
3. Next, click the “All Devices” option and select “Airpods.”
4. Next, select All Devices > “your AirPods”> Play Sound.

Or, if you are using the Find My app on MAcc, follow the steps below:

1. Go to your iCloud and sign in using your Apple ID and password.
2. Select the “Find iPhone” option under it. 
3. Next, click on the option called “All Devices” and select “Airpods” under it (You may have to type in your password again)
4. Next, it will show your Airpod location on the map.
5. From here, tap the AirPods on the map and click “Play Sound.”

Doing any of these will play the sound from your AirPods, and if they are nearby, you can listen to them.

Make sure to turn up its volume to the highest and try to find it in a silent environment. It is only helpful if you lose them in a closed space like your home, maybe under the couch.

How to find your lost Airpods case?

If You have lost your AirPods case and not the AirPods themselves while using them, do not worry. We have got you covered. Below we have provided a few ways to locate your AirPods case.

Use the “Find My” app to find the AirPods case –

Use this method if you at least have one of the AirPods left in the charging case.

1. Go to the “settings” option on your iPhone.
2. Here click on the “Find My” option.
3. Next, click “Find My iPhone” to see the devices your iPhone is connected to. 
4. Here search for the Airpods on the list and tap it.

Sadly, you can only do so much if you lose the case and need a replacement. You can look for them manually.

But you would need to buy the case replacement from the Apple store. But it will cost you some bucks.

However, the good part is that Apple provides a warranty for their replacement parts depending on how long you owned your Airpod case before losing it.

1. Get on your iPhone and go to Settings > Bluetooth.
2. Switch on your Bluetooth, and under “My devices,” select your AirPods.

4. Next, click on “Forget This Device.”

6. Wait till the LED on the case turns yellow.
7. Next, hold the setup button for about 10 seconds until the light turns white.
