gaming phone under 300

Gaming phones are a relatively new phenomenon that has so far been confined to the high-end smartphone market. To achieve a smooth gaming experience, mobile gamers on a budget must forego other important characteristics such as excellent camera quality and long battery life.

This isn’t the case anymore. Many low-cost phones on the market are suitable for gaming and offer a long battery life and outstanding camera quality, thanks to so many businesses focusing on the gaming business.

There was a time (not that long ago) when a $300 smartphone couldn’t handle anything.

You know, it was horrible, and you felt bad after purchasing it. Those were the days. The Motorola Moto G Power is much less than $300, but you’d never guess. Why? Long battery life, a decent screen, and plenty of power are all advantages.

True, certain details have been omitted: There is no true water resistance, and there is no wireless charging. If you ask us, which you are by reading this, those are acceptable trade-offs for a great phone at a great price. Oh, and it works with almost any carrier!

A 6.4-inch display is front and center, with a camera cutout in the upper left corner. The phone is no slouch on the inside, either.

For the price, the camera skills are certainly impressive, but the battery is the big draw here. Motorola claims that the battery would last three days without needing to be recharged.

The Nokia 7.2 is the successor to the Nokia 7.1, which was a mid-range phone. Some of the design flourishes have been retained, but the specs have been updated and some new functions have been added. The design is appealing, with a glossy black finish that comes in a variety of sleek, appealing colors.

The bezels on the sides are slimmer, and there’s a fingerprint sensor on the back. The display is a 6.3-inch 1080p panel with 403 pixels per inch, resulting in a sharp image. It complies with HDR10, allowing you to support suitable material for improved color and saturation.

You’ll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor within. It’s a mid-range chipset, yet Android 9.0 Pie runs smoothly on it.

The 4GB of RAM is also sufficient for acceptable multitasking and can handle games such as Asphalt 9. With a triple camera arrangement on the rear, including a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP sensor for depth data on portrait and bokeh images, the camera quality is also excellent. Overall, it’s a terrific phone that comes in a good package.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 is a stylish mid-range phone that retains many of Samsung’s design flourishes and features found on higher-end flagships. It boasts a large screen with little bezels, despite being made of plastic.

The display is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel that is bright and vibrant, and it looks almost as crisp and clear as Samsung’s flagship panels.

You’ll find an Exynos 9610 chipset with 4GB of RAM under the hood. Although it isn’t the most powerful processor, it will be enough for browsing and app opening. It was even capable of handling games. The triple camera sensor array on the rear performed admirably, though it isn’t as detailed as higher-end phones.

  • International Model, Does not have US Warranty. Will work with Most GSM SIM cards in U.S. and world Including AT&T, T-Mobile, Etc. Will NOT work with CDMA Carriers Such as Verizon, Cricket, Boost.

How much of OnePlus’ distinct character survives in a sub-$200 budget phone? It turns out that was just enough. The OnePlus Nord N100 is the company’s cheapest phone to date, yet it retains the company’s beautiful Android shell and includes several features found in more expensive competitors.

A crisp 90Hz screen is included, as well as rapid 18W charging and a large battery that can last two days. The Nord N100 also doesn’t appear to be a clumsy, low-cost device.

Still, a $180 phone can only be improved so much by software refinement and a few hardware perks, and the Nord N100 has sluggish performance and subpar cameras.

For the most part, it still feels like a budget phone—but it’s workable, and the luxury features give it a somewhat more enticing allure than your typical budget phone. If you have $300 to spare, the much-improved Nord N10 5G is a must-have, but even if you don’t, this is still a very good phone for the money.

LG Stylo 6 Unlocked Smartphone – 4/64 GB – White (Made for US Verizon, AT&T, T–Mobile, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, Metro (Universal Compatibility)
  • 6.8" FHD+ FullVision Display
  • Built-In Stylus Pen
  • Triple Camera System
  • 4,000 mAh Battery
  • 3 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM / expandable microSD

The LG Stylo 6 is a low-cost phone with a premium appearance. Despite its low price, it looks and feels high-end, with a large 6.8-inch IPS display and a mirror-finish glass back. It also has a built-in stylus with some useful functions.

However, the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset falls short of expectations, resulting in a phone that looks great but performs poorly.

The upmarket design and amazing stylus capability are two reasons to adore this phone. The gorgeous FHD display makes this one of the best-looking sub-$300 phones on the market. It’s a little dark in direct sunshine, but it looks great everywhere else.

The stylus is spring-loaded, thus removing it brings up a selection of memo and note options. It’s quite responsive and accurate, with no discernible lag unless you move it very quickly. If you forget to put the phone back in its holster, it will even sound an alarm when you try to switch it off.

For the same money, you can get a phone that performs better than the Stylo 6, but you’ll be hard pushed to find one that looks this good.

The Stylo 6 is ideal if you don’t expect much from your phone and simply want something that looks good while completing basic tasks.

Conclusion

The Moto G Power is the finest affordable smartphone under $300. (view at Amazon). It’s a speedy, responsive phone with smooth software, Motorola adjustments for enhanced functionality, and one of the best battery life we’ve seen. The Nokia 7.2 is also a favorite of ours (view at Amazon).

It includes a large, bright 1080p display, a powerful Snapdragon 660 processor, and a triple camera array with bokeh and wide-angle capabilities. It isn’t the most up-to-date phone, but the price-performance ratio is hard to top.
